A 3'6" gauge electric tramway operated between these two North Wales seaside resorts
via Rhos-on-Sea from 19th October 1907 until 24th March 1956

CENTENARY OF THE OPENING OF THE TRAMWAY WEEKEND 19th October 1907 - 19th October 2007 Replica Open-Top Double Deck Tram No.7 Saturday 20th October 2007 ===================== Hauled run by the 1943 Matador "Mighty Muriel" along the full length of the former tramway including the extension to Old Colwyn which closed in 1930 Although the tramway closed over 50 years ago, the old tram shelter still survives 100 years after the opening of the tramway Looking back along Gloddaeth Avenue from West Shore before the hauled run (from the upper deck of Replica Tram No.7) "If only someone would put the tracks back......."
