Works Car tram No.23A  outside Rhos-on-Sea depot
awaiting her next call to duty

Probably the most unusual and least attractive tram in the fleet - it had a very small "A" added after the arrival of the second hand fleet when
toastrack 19 was temporarily renumbered 23 between 1936 and 1937 then again after the arrival of ex-Darwen DD 23 in 1946 !
Note the stairway to nowhere  (at one time to a public upper deck in her former life before arriving in North Wales to replace the original works car)
(What would "Health and Safety" think of working off the top deck these days ?)

Scrapped 1956

Do you have any other old picture/photo of this tram or any other member of the fleet and would like to see it displayed here ?
If so, please send it to the Society Webmaster
